Just found your blog today and very much appreciate your intelligent coverage of what society stills seems to consider "thorny" issues. <br /><br />On the point about changes in support levels for faith-based federal spending, I wonder if the decline in Republican support might possible come in reaction to a widening of the variety of religious groups receiving funding. I believe when GW Bush proposed this idea, most people defined "faith-based organizations" as "Christian". But of course, in a "religion-blind" government, non-Christians have probably received some funding as well.
