Go Joe!
I've been telling friends for months now that Joe Biden would be the best VP choice. He may have loose lips, he may get mad, he may blunder in front of cameras, but few VP potentials could fill the experience hole he can. (Of course I'm still miffed about his - caveated - vote to go to war in Iraq, but he has since very vocally apologized for it and worked at the administration to change their ways in Iraq.)
How can you not love a pro-choice Catholic born in PA who has been in the senate since the age of 29? He lost his first wife and daughter to a car accident with a drunk driver; was once the chairman of the Judiciary Committee and is currently the chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee. He commutes to work in DC on Amtrak every day from Delaware. Find out more about him at joebiden.com.
And with all the talk today surrounding his visit to Georgia, I'm very happy.

Forgive me if I have quoted other traditional media sources. I don't know what delaware grapevine is. Regardless, they were killed and if your sticklerness has to do with some anti-Obama, anti-Biden creepiness, go away. If you're making a point for the sake of "anonymous" drunk drivers everywhere, well fine. I don't see how the nature of the accident takes away the fact that someone lost their family, which was my only point. But I do believe in facts, so thanks for making me chase some down.
I don't have any anti-Obama or Biden agenda or "creepiness" and I have no sympathy for drunk drivers. My only agenda was to let the truth be known, that my father was not drunk and was not charged with any crime. He was a man out there doing a job to support his family when this tragic accident happened and it affected him very deeply. VR DUNN
