Tortured for Christ.

An international best-selling book brought to you by Voice of the Martyrs.

I've been writing and thinking about the conservative Dariusluet Hutterites who in a 4-3 Canadian Supreme Court decision lost exemption from having to carry photo IDs. They do not believe in photo taking because of the second commandment: no graven images, no idolatory. (But they can drive cars. Go figure.) Anyhow, they're maybe looking for a new country and I'm researching some possibilities for them. Here's my list so far:

Russia
US (Lancaster, PA)
Congo
Mexico
Paraguay

What do you think? Where is religious tolerance greatest in the world? Where are the martyrs? Let me know.
